Two-Fisted Wordsmith

Alec Sousa has been writing and editing professionally for the last decade. With a background in journalism, he’s worked in entertainment and lifestyle reporting, with an emphasis on independent music and human interest stories. His first love, though, has always been creative writing.

Working in both prose and comic books, his stories usually fall into the crime and horror genres, or sometimes even both. He is the creator of Professor Wicklow’s Traveling Phantasmagoria, the first story of which is available in both digital and print formats.

An avid traveler, he has ventured to twenty-five countries. He’s backpacked through Europe, India, and Nepal; lived in Mexico; studied in the Middle East; and, once spent a week stranded in Eastern Europe.

He currently resides in Utah with his wife and two sons, where he’s a member of the League of Utah Writers.
